Where can I take my motorcycle Test?

MOD 1 (Off Road): to be taken at Exeter or Plymouth. (£15.50)

MOD 2 (Road Only): to be taken at Exeter, Launceston or Plymouth. (£75.00)

How long will it take?

The length of course and final price will very much depend on your current or previous riding experience, if you have done your CBT with us we will have given you an idea of how many days will be required, if however you completed your CBT with another company we may suggest an assessment session to guage where your riding level is currently at, this will allow us to get you booked onto the right legnth course and ensure you have the best opportunity of passing first time.

What bike will I train on?

For category A (DAS – Unrestricted) – We currently use Kawasaki ER6n’s, Kawasaki Versys and Honda CBF600’s. All but the Versys have the ability to be lowered for those requiring a lower seat height.

For category A2 (47bhp – Restricted) – All three of our Kawasaki bikes are 650cc but (via throttle restriction) have the ability to be used for the A2 (47bhp) training and tests. For those wishing to take their Automatic A2 licence we have a Piaggio X9 500. For riders requiring a lighter bike we have a Suzuki GS500 and for riders requiring a very low seat height and a lighter feel to that of the Kawasaki we have a Yamaha Virago 535.

For category A1 (125cc – Light) – We use the Yamaha YBR and for the automatic option we have a Kymco Agility.

What do the course prices include?

The price is inclusive of the hire/use of our training school bikes, fuel, insurance and any motorcycle clothing that may be required. We only ever operate at a maximum ratio of 2 students per instructor. 1-2-1 courses will of course be exactly that.

Is there an advantage to a 1-2-1 course?

There are a few advantages to mention, two of the main ones being that it leads to potentially one less training day required in total due to the individual attention received from your instructor and greater flexibility with start and finish times as it will only be yourself on the course.
